Upcoming Big Event
The COVID-19 pandemic affected our local businesses, families, and the entire community. No one was prepared for it, and with the shutdown, many community resources were halted. With 30 plus years of agriculture experience, the Loera Family had the idea to grow and sell pumpkins to raise money for children in the community. With the help of community members, they were able to connect with multiple non-profits that shared that mission. With over 10,000 pumpkins coming from the farm to the city, $130,000 has been raised for local families and non-profits the last three years.
